BE STILL
Let us come before the Lord in a respectful manner. Be quiet and prepare yourselves to hear what God is saying. May we watch over the words of our mouths and the thoughts of our minds, freeing ourselves to be empty vessels before him that he may pour into us his will.
But let judgement run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

GOD LOVES JUSTICE
In the 5th Chapter of Amos, God spoke out against Israel. In spite of their religious rituals, holy feast days and burnt offerings, they continued to afflict the just, they accepted bribes, rejected the poor, and engaged in sinful behaviors.
When you go before God, make sure your hands are clean, and your hearts are right.
GOD IS HOLY
God is sacred and pure.
In Him there is no sin.
In Him there is no darkness.
In the 19th Chapter of Exodus, the Lord is to come down in a thick cloud to speak with Moses.
Exodus 19: 11...for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.
Exodus 19: 12 & 13...and thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death. There shall not an hand touch it but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live:...
Malachi 3: 6
For I am the Lord, I change not;...
Exodus 33:20 And he said, thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Romans 12: 1 & 2 I beseech you therefore brethern, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

TRUE WORSHIP
How have you come to worship the Lord? What is in your heart? What is on your mind? Is it the rituals of religion that you desire or are you seeking a close relationship with God?
To truly connect with the Lord, we must free our minds of all worldly thoughts and cares and focus on who God is and the great love he has for us. We must not only repent of our sins, but we must also not allow the sins of the flesh to reign in our lives. We must make the choice of cleansing ourselves of wickedness, resist evil, and avoid corrupt communications that we may be called the children of the most high God. It is then that we can worship in truth and spirit.
