Living here on earth can be a struggle at times and although that is true for all of us, life is still beautiful. You may ask yourself: Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is the meaning behind the hardships of my reality? Is there really a God who sees and knows all? Does he care about these trials and obstacles I face? I say to you, "Yes."
I can go on and on about my personal experiences, my testimonies, and yet you will not know God for yourself. However, I can tell you what is necessary for you to do if you are sincere in your quest to know if God is real. You must form a relationship with him, be more engaging with him. Offer God a place in the center of your heart. Make him the reason for your existence and everything you do. Are you ready for it? Please listen.
Jesus' message to a dying world was, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17 KJV)
Are you tired of wandering wearily through life, trying to juggle endless responsibilities, health struggles, emotional pain, and a lack of peace? Are you wishing for balance in your life? Let's get started on the answer to your problems: Jesus.
"Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Ask God to forgive you your transgressions; Tell Jesus you accept him as your Lord and Savior; Tell him that you believe he was crucified, died, was buried and rose from the grave with all power in his hands; Tell him that you believe through him your sins are forgiven and you will be saved from damnation.
Now, you tell me, "I don't know if that is true or not." Well, allow me to lead you to The Light of the world: Jesus, ("the way, the truth, and the life."/John 14:6 KJV) Ask him whether or not he is real. Be sincere in your approach. He hears you. He knows your heart. Start reading the Word of God (the Bible), asking him for the understanding of. You might not comprehend what you are reading at first, but my advice is for you to keep reading, keep reading, and keep reading. One day, it will all come to a clear focus.
I will also advise you to meditate on God's word. If you are honest with yourself, you will begin to see where you fall short, as we all fall short, but you have a choice now. Which path will you choose? Will you continue down the dark path, or will you choose to walk in the light? I pray that you choose the path of Christ.
Come, let us move closer to the one who loves us, Jesus.
Close your eyes, say a sincere prayer, speaking honestly from your heart. Think about how you are so loved by God that he sacrificed his only begotten son so that you may receive eternal life! Think about your own life. You still have it! You have the opportunity to repent and give your life to Christ who loves you. Can you think of the times when you felt close to death, or destruction, or complete failure? By the rivers of grace that falls upon us all, you made it through. Now, let's make life even better by submitting to God's will, his will that we all come to know him and fellowship with him.
Just as you mingle with family and friends, you must also mingle in the light of Christ in order to have a real relationship with him. Pray to him. Sing to him. Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to him. Have that conversation with him, speaking on whatever is in your heart. Now, that's it. You are getting connected with Christ.
Your heart is now wide open to him. Because of it, you will automatically choose to obey his word. Your life will change. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33 / KJV)
What things? you asked. I say to you, that God will provide your earthly needs. What a wonderful God he is!

A New Creature in Christ
May the love of God flow through you.
May the peace of God surround you.
Allow the rivers of God's grace to saturate your soul.
Immerse yourself in the power of his forgiveness.
Release your spirit to his care.
Surrender to his will for your life.
Follow his lead.
Bask in the freedom of his light.
Your flesh be now crucified.
Your spirit be now alive in his glory.

There he was, stretched out on an "Old Rugged Cross."
"Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53:10 KJV)
It was God's good plan to have sin paid in full for good through the sacrifice of Jesus. No more animal sacrifices needed to pay for sin, no more blood to shed for sin because Christ paid the debt for our guilt and shame.
I tell you today; Come to Christ. He is quick to forgive, ready to save you. Just ask him to do so. He is love. He will never reject a sincere heart.

and I love that old cross where the dearest and best

Come just as you are. He will wash you and make you whiter than snow. Your past sins will all be forgiven.
